DIY: Easy, Removable Freckles

This is for those of you who don't read Seven Bloggers and Their Dolls. I just really wanted to share this with you :P. Voting for AGPC will be up tonight! :)

Hey guys!
Today I'm gonna do something a bit different than usual...
I'm gonna teach you a safe, easy, and super cute way to give your doll freckles!

***

Before you start, you're going to need a few things:

1.) A doll of your choice

2.) A WASHABLE (this is very important) marker in a color of your choice.
Browns and tans look the best when doing freckles.

sorry bout the fuzzy photo

3.) Tissues

4.) Spray bottle (or just a sink, you're only using water to wet the tissue when you want to remove the freckles)

The first thing you're going to want to do is pull your doll's hair out of his or her face.

Next, you're going to take the washable marker and make sure that it's the color you want.
Test out a small section of freckles on the bottom of your doll's foot before you actually do her face, just to make sure that you have the color you want and then make sure that your marker comes off clean with the damp tissue.

Once you've made sure you have the right color and that your marker will definitely come off if the time comes that you need/want to remove the freckles, start dotting in small sections (like shown in the above photo), creating the freckles.

After you dot each section of freckles, dab them with your finger so they look more natural.

Continue doing this across his or her face until you have the desired amount of freckles, and you're done! Simple as that.

Now, in the event of the need to remove the freckles, you will only need two things: the tissue and the water.

Wet a corner of the tissue and squeeze out the excess water, You do not want this soaking wet, because you don't want to risk getting water in your doll's eyes. Gently wipe the areas that you added freckles to, and they should come off clean with just a few wipes. As you can see, in the above photo I had removed the freckles on the right side of her face.

Now it looks like the freckles were never there! Everything should go smoothly, as long as your markers are washable. I cannot stress that enough. Unless you want to risk having permanent freckles on your doll, make sure the marker you are using will come off. That concludes the tutorial! I really hope you guys like this! Let me know in the comments if you have ever added freckles or if you plan on adding freckles to a doll! :) Have a wonderful day!
