~

i hate being busy i really do.

i also hate people but yanno.

~

*sigh* well, it's been a long day and all i really wanna do is collapse in bed and listen to 5sos and all time low until a fall asleep, but instead i made a video, somehow threw together  a lame excuse for a post over on SBATD, and decided to post again on here because i love you guys.

since i'm so bored, i want to talk to you guys. in the comments, ask me anything--anything--and i'll answer, think of it as an unofficial q&a. i just wanna talk to you guys since it feels like we haven't done that in a long long time.

QOTD: do you ever have one of those days when you're just totally done with people yet still want to talk?

AOTD: all the time ladies. (and gentlemen, if there are any here)

see ya in the comments? maybe? hopefully.

  1. Yes. Totally. Today I was kinda just having a day where you don't don't don't don't don't don't DON'T want to get out of bed.
So I got home after school and collapsed on the couch and watched netflix for a while. :)
(And whoo-hoo for me, I think this is the first comment--yay!)

    1. Yeah, I had a school field trip today and was stuck with a bunch of annoying, self-obsessed peers of mine, and by nine in the morning I was completely done with everyone and exhausted.
      Sounds like fun. ;)

  2. That answer sums up my life. xD
Because I am the music nerd that I am, I'd love to ask a bunch of stupid questions revolving around it. ;)
Favorite All Time Low song? Favorite song off of Don't Panic? What was a younger Maddie's music taste like? Can you name your top 5 bands/musicians? Do you listen to My Chemical Romance? (I ask as I sit in a MCR tank top :P) Haven't heard you mention them in a while so; DO YOU STILL LOVE PARAMORE?! xD
And I believe that's all I'll pester you with for now. ;)

    1. woooooooo xD
I'm not gonna lie, I was hoping someone would ask me music related questions. ;)

1.) Hmm...this is a real tough one...but I really really like Outlines. In fact, it's probably one of my all time favorites. (no pun intended)
2.) Dang I love that album--though I own Don't Panic: It's Longer Now! and listen to that more than Don't Panic. But my favorite? Probably Outlines. ;)
3.) Fetus Maddie listened to Paramore...and that was pretty much it. I was raised listening to classic rock, so I also used to enjoy bands like Queen, but nothing came close to Paramore. ;)
4.) I can, but it'll be tough...here goes: (in no particular order) All Time Low, 5 Seconds of Summer, Hands Like Houses, Paramore, and Sleeping With Sirens.
5.) On occasion--I'm actually more likely to watch MCR interviews and stuff like that as opposed to listening to their music...is that bad?
6.) YES ADI YES I DO DONT WORRY xD
If you ever think of more, don't hesitate to ask--I enjoyed this quite a lot. ;)

    2. Gah, Outlines is perfect. One of my favorites. I think my top one is The Irony of Choking on a Lifesaver though. :)
That sounds a lot like me. I was raised on Bon Jovi & a number of other things. Probably why my music taste is the way it is now. xD
Hands Like Houses was the one who did the song for your special lyric shoot, correct? I haven't had time to listen to them yet, but I need to. Also been meaning to listen to Sleeping w/ Sirens. But I'm a forgetful bugger. :3
That's not bad at all; MCR interviews are the greatest. They're all so funny and lovely. ^-^
OKAY GOOD I WAS JUST MAKING SURE. xD
      It's really quite nice to have somebody in the doll community has partially common music taste as me. I'm afraid most don't know who the heck I'm rambling about. :}

    3. It really is. Ooo, I love that one too...the title makes it that much better if you ask me. xD
Ayy, I'm not alone! I can relate to that. xD
Yep. :) haha, yes you do, they're truly amazing and every one of their songs tells a story. Lovely band. Ahh, yes, SWS...you need to make some space in your schedule sweetie. ;)
OKAY WELL THANKS FOR CHECKING IN. xD
I agree, it always feels great to talk to someone in this community about music--and right now, you're the only other blogger of the doll variety that feels the same way about music as I do and listens to stuff other than the crap most others do.
I talk too much. I should look into fixing that.

    4. The title is 90% of what makes me love it. xD
I've heard SWS is really good; I'm hoping to take some time to listen to all the bands I've been meaning to look up tomorrow. SWS shall be the first on the list. ;)
NO PROBLEM. I'M ALWAYS ONE TO CHECK IN. XD
You used the word crap when referring to other music-does that give me the right to bash the radio, and cry about how meaningless the lyrics are to 95% of the songs played on it? No, but seriously, as much as I can appreciate Taylor Swift, I really wish they would play other songs besides hers. -_-

    5. So true. xD
They are, one of my favorite things about them is the variety in their music--their sound can go from near screamo to a lighter pop punk sound t punk rock and I just :3 may I recommend you listen to Go Go Go by SWS, it's a really great song and definitely my favorite by them.
Yes, yes it does--I actually refuse to listen to the radio anymore just because of how repetitive everything is. Not only do they play the same songs over and over again, the songs themselves just aren't original at all. For the most part, anyways.

    6. That sounds right up my alley. I love the pop punk, and slightly more rock stuff, and those who can incorporate subtle screaming into things can immediately hook me. I'm so not a screamo person, but there's something about just a little bit of it in songs that I can get behind and really like.
Go Go Go will be first on the list; I freaking love song recommendations when delving into new music, so thank you.
I constantly have my headphones in so I don't have to hear it. I could probably tolerate the songs on the radio if the lyrics just weren't so mindless to me. Occasionally they play the good stuff like Fall Out Boy, but it's once in a blue moon, and certainly their songs with a style more suited for radio play. :P

    7. Great, you'll have to let me know what you think of them when you do get the chance. Ah, same, my one friend has tried getting me into screamo but I just dont like the sound of screaming with guitars in the background, but when there's subtle hints of it I really do love it.
Yeah, I have mine in very often, but unfortunately sometimes I'm caught unprepared when my brother's in the car--he loves the stuff they play on the radio. I love when FOB or even Panic! (it's rare but it has happened) songs come on, even though yeah, you're very right about that, it's always just their popular, usually not as good, stuff.

    8. I just listened to it, and daaaang. I'm blaming you if this snowballs into a new obsession. xD
Same. I'm kind of indifferent to it really; just doesn't do anything for me. The chaotic-ness of it is mostly what drives me away from it. That and I can't scream, & I quite like singing along (badly) to songs. xD
Exactly. They always play their stuff that lands more on the pop side of things, and though I love all that Panic! & FOB do, there are so many songs of theirs I can think of that have far more gripping beats, and less repetitive lyrics. :/

  4. 1) How old were you when you started sewing doll clothes?
    2) I hear that you are opening an Etsy shop... if you give me your email address, then I can "invite" you through Etsy to open a shop. If you accept the invitation, then both you and I will get to list forty items for free! If you are interested, then just email me, telling me when you're ready, and I'll invite you. :) I love getting to list items for free, and I'm sure you would, too. :)

    1. 1.) I was around 8 or 9, but I only got into sewing seriously at around age 12.
2.) Yeah, I do plan on opening one hopefully later this year, though I'm not sure if I'll be able to due to my busy schedule. Thank you for the offer, I'll be sure to keep it in mind when I have an opportunity to open a shop. ^_^

  5. oh yeah, Maddie, I've had those days too. Those days when you lose faith in humanity. Oh yeah. They come around nearly...hmm, let's see...every day?
I was reading through the comments and you went on your field trip today? xD So did we :) Thankfully I was placed near a person, who, well, is relatively okay in the insanity scale. So yeah.

Umm...questions? Well..let's see. Did you have a good day? (wow...autumn, could you get any brighter?) No, but in all seriousness I'm asking. Um, how's band going? (ok that was probably the wrong question again)

    whoops.

    1. Yes Autumn, you're so right. So very right about that.
Yep. Haha, that's awesome! That's good, I had one of my close friends with me that was equally, if not even more annoyed than me, so it was okay.

Minus the people that make me want to lock myself in an empty room forever, it was quite fun. :) we went on a cruise with a buffet, which was wicked cool.

Band is going great--it has become a huge part of my life and I love it. ^_^

  8. I'm saving up for another AG doll. I'm thinking of calling her Natalia, but I'm not sure which one I should get! I really love Caroline, but I'm not gonna have enough for her before she retires, and I don't really want another blonde. I sort of have my eye on number 55 at the moment, but I've always loved 56 as well, and I don't know if I need another doll with curly hair! What would be your advice??

    1. oh gosh, sorry for the late reply. >.< i recommend either #55 or #61 just because their hair is so versatile--it can be curled or brushed out to be almost straight, and it's very easy to maintain. :)
