muted colors {a photo shoot}

~
no lyrics today, just some pretty little kanani. :3

expect a "what i've been sewing" post up within the next week or so, along with a lyric shoot or two. sorry for so much crappy photography lately. we've had really bad weather here for the past few weeks--thunderstorms every day, lots of wind, just bleh. not to mention band--i have sectionals at least once a week that run for two hours, plus actual marching band practices every other wednesday. plus i have to practice at home constantly to make sure i memorize all the music by like, early august, so whenever the weather's actually nice, i'm usually extremely tired.

so just warning ya, my posts may not be as frequent from here on out--don't worry, i'm not taking a break or anything, i just don't have the time at the moment. not fun. *sigh*

whelp, have a great night guys. :)

    2. You are so brilliant you can make it look like a filter without a filter?
      Teach us, oh Maddie the camera god.

      Ugh I want thunderstorms! It has been more than a month since it last rained.

    3. hehe, i guess so? i'm not brilliant by any standards but i do know my camera like the back of my hand. that's the only way i can think of explaining it--just know your camera and how it works, and from there it's just experimenting.

      then please, take ours. xD *shoves thunderstorms at you*

  4. Lovely photos Maddie. I really like the sepia look of them :0)
    I know, we have been getting so much rain. I do a lot of summer sports and lately they've all been being cancelled. I'm not complaining though :0)

  6. These photos of Kanani are stunning. Unique use of filter to give the muted look.

    I completely understand about the crappy weather and lighting - we've been having overcast and rainy and extra humid weather. I've been taking lots of photos when I can, but some...well, you know. :-) My upcoming rebraiding post starts out good and ends good, but in between...blech!
